Registering for the Weekend is quick, easy and painless. Below is all of the information you'll need to zoom through the process! Note that much of this information (directions, etc.) will be mailed to you when you receive your registration packet.

Download a registration form

Registration forms are no longer available for download. If you still want to attend the Weekend, email us at registration@sisterspace.org for information about how to register.

Registration Fees

The fee schedule for the weekend is based on a sliding scale. The sliding scale is based on your pre-tax gross yearly income. Note that all fees are per-person. RV pricing is the same as tenting.

Payment

Payment by check, money order, or credit card is welcome. Note that your payment must be received in full by the appropriate deadline in order for your registration to be completed. If you want to pay by credit card: We will have a credit card machine at the gate on September 5th. Mastercard and Visa are accepted.

Registration Deadlines

Weekend Pre-Registration has ended. If you want to attend the Weekend, email us at registration@sisterspace.org for information about how to register.

Please note that all deadlines are postmark deadlines:

  • "Early Bird" deadline: July 15, 2008
Save some money by registering early!
  • "Pre-Registration" deadline: August 11, 2008
This is your last opportunity to register before Gate Registration takes effect.
  • Refund request deadline: August 11, 2008
If you've registered for the Weekend but are unable to attend, you need to inform us by this date in order to receive a refund. Requests must be received in writing to the SisterSpace P.O. box.

Do not mail your registration form if it will be postmarked after August 11, 2008. We will not have time to process it. If your registration will be postmarked after August 11, you should email registration@sisterspace.org or register at the gate.

Gate Registration

If you decide that you'd like to attend the Weekend after the pre-registration deadline has passed, Gate Registration may be available. Please email us at registration@sisterspace.org or call us at 215.546.4890 for information; also, in the event that there's no cabin space left, come prepared to tent! Note that gate fees apply, and no checks are accepted at the gate (cash or visa/MC only).

Scholarships: The Linda Bacon-Bass Memorial Send-A-Sister Fund

Note: As of July 28th 2008, all available Send-A-Sister funds have been distributed. Currently, no more scholarships for the 2008 Weekend are available. If you are interested in being added to the scholarship waiting list, please contact us as outlined below.

Sisterspace has always advocated making the Weekend festival as accessible to as many women as possible, including women facing financial challenges. We are happy to be able to offer the Linda Bacon-Bass Memorial Send-A-Sister Fund to help defray the expense associated with coming to the Weekend. The amount available varies from year to year, and is dependant on contributions. We ask that you contribute as much as you are able so that we may offer this opportunity to as many women as possible. The regular fees to attend the weekend are based on a sliding scale, and if the base of $175 is beyond your means you may be eligible for this fund.

Please contact us with your name and address to receive an application form. Forms should be returned to Sisterspace no later than August 11th. We will notify you of any award available no later than August 20. Please note that we may not be able to provide assistance to all requests, and remember we are dependant on contributions for this fund. This fund is available to help defray the cost of registration only; you will need to arrange transportation to and from. Registration covers all costs for housing, food, and entertainment.

Accommodations: Cabins, Tents and RVs

Cabins

If you like to camp with some indoor comforts, cabins come complete with real beds, flush toilets, hot showers, and electricity. The cabins vary in size, with rooms sleeping from 8 to 20, and some cabins with multiple rooms. If you would like to share a cabin with anyone registering on a different form, identify yourself with a group name on the registration form. Please note that groups do not have exclusive use of cabins. Unless your group completely fills the available beds, you will be sharing with other women as well. Be sure to indicate the type of cabin or tenting space you prefer. Space is divided into the following categories:

  • Quiet – for those who go to bed early. Comings and goings in these areas after 11 pm should be respectful of those trying to sleep.
  • General – this is for those who want to party, but still get some rest. We request that these areas calm down after 1 am.
  • Rowdy – this is for the party hardy crew. This area usually rocks non-stop throughout the Weekend.
  • Family – these are spaces reserved for those with children.
  • Wheelchair Accessible – a wheelchair-accessible cabin is available for women who use wheelchairs and their friends.

Register early to insure your choice of cabin space.

Tenting

For those who prefer a more outdoor experience, or more privacy, tenting is the best option. There are a number of tenting areas throughout the camp, and indoor showers and toilet facilities reserved for tenters will be available. Note that you'll need to bring your own tent!

RVs

There is limited space for RVs (sorry, no hookups) - be sure to register for these in advance.
