Workshops and Networking

Want to conduct a workshop? One of the unique aspects of the Weekend's workshop schedule is that all of the workshops are conducted by people attending the weekend - including performers, merchants, workers, and campers! We're consistently amazed at the variety and scope of the workshops gleaned by tapping into the vast resource of experience and knowledge possessed by our Weekend community.

Workshops and Networking have long been an important part of the Weekend and we try each year to include a variety of topics that reflect the diversity of our participants. Due to limited space, we unfortunately are not able to accommodate every proposal. We have devised this form to help us learn a little bit about you and your proposed topic. If you have more than one topic you would consider doing, please use the same format to tell us about your additional ideas. This will allow us to make decisions that will lead to an interesting and varied workshop / networking program.

Note that facilitating a workshop or convening a networking session does not waive your registration fee - you still must register and pay to attend the Weekend. However, it will fulfill your 2 hour work shift requirement. If your workshop / networking session is scheduled this year, you will have your $30.00 work shift deposit refunded to you after your workshop is completed, at the designated refund times. Networking tables are set up at lunch and dinner times.

Note: Electrical sources are not available for workshops, as most are held in tents.

Please complete the form fully, as we will use this information for the Weekend program guide.

It is important that you submit your proposal as soon as possible - as we will be making decisions about workshops and networking sessions by August 18th, 2008.

If you've already registered for the Weekend, please fill out the online form below and press "Send" when done. Thanks!

If you haven't yet registered, please download and complete the Word version of this form, and mail it along with your registration information.
