Welcome to SisterSpace.org and to the website for the 2009 SisterSpace Weekend! The 2009 SISTERSPACE WEEKEND will be an incredible experience and the most affordable vacation you'll ever take! Featuring an AMAZING lineup of performances on both Friday and Saturday nights, entertaining and life-enhancing workshops, an awesome dance party, wonderful merchants and craftswomyn, plus bodyworkers, sports, drumming, and more, the Weekend provides the chance to connect and create community with hundreds of women from all over the Mid-Atlantic region and beyond.
The Weekend takes place at a beautiful, private and wooded camp in Darlington, MD - just steps away from the majestic Susquehanna River. You're free to explore the hiking trails down to the river, or to just hang out by the pool and socialize! Offering boundless opportunities for creativity and amusement (both organized and spontaneous), the Weekend is a great place to relax and rejuvenate yourself among friends both old and new.
