Every year, we aspire to put together a schedule of workshops that are as interesting and diverse as the many women who attend the Weekend - and since it's the women of the Weekend who facilitate the workshops, we always wind up with an excellent array of topics to choose from!
Workshops are facilitated by campers, performers, merchants, and Weekend workers. If you're planning to attend the Weekend in any capacity, and have an idea for a workshop and want to offer one, please Download Registration to be sent in with your registration or Subit your Proposal Online (this is helpful if you have also registered online) or give us a call at 215.546.4890. For campers, workshops are counted as your 2-hour workshift. |

Note: You MUST be approved by the Volunteer Coordinator before registering as a volunteer. If you are a volunteer, please don't use the camper registration form; a special volunteer registration form will be sent to you upon acceptance. Sisterspace is planned and executed entirely by volunteers. If you're interested in working the Weekend, please contact us at volunteers@sisterspace.org so that we know you're out there. It would be great if you could inform us of any special skills or qualifications that you have, or any considerations you'd like us to know. Those with lifeguarding, medical, kitchen/restaurant and other skilled labor workers are always needed!
We have two volunteer options for the weekend festival: full-time volunteers and part-time volunteers
- Full-time volunteers work a minimum of 16 hours during the course of the weekend in exchange for festival admission, lodging, meals, etc. Full-time volunteers contribute $40 toward their registration.
- Part-time volunteers work 8 hours during the course of the weekend in exchange for a reduced admission fee of $100
- Most positions require volunteers to arrive Thursday afternoon or evening (September 10th), and some may require volunteers to stay until Monday morning (September 14)
- Volunteers are invited to attend our "Thanksgiving feast" Sunday evening at the close of the festival
Currently, we have open worker positions for various duties, especially the kitchen which is our largest and most important crew!

The Linda Bacon-Bass Memorial Send-A-Sister Fund's success is entirely contingent upon the generosity of the Sisterspace community. Your donations make it possible for women to attend the weekend who would otherwise be left out due to their financial circumstances.
