The 2011 SISTERSPACE WEEKEND is an incredible experience and the most affordable vacation you'll ever take! Featuring a full slate of performances on both Friday and Saturday, entertaining and life-enhancing workshops, an awesome dance party, wonderful merchants and craftswomyn, plus bodyworkers, sports, drumming, and more, the Weekend provides the chance to connect and create community with hundreds of women from all over the Mid-Atlantic region and beyond.
The Weekend takes place at a beautiful, private and wooded camp in Darlington, Maryland — just steps away from the majestic Susquehanna River. You're free to explore the hiking trails down to the river, or to just hang out by the pool and socialize! Offering boundless opportunities for creativity and amusement (both organized and spontaneous), the Weekend is a great place to relax and rejuvenate yourself among friends both old and new.

Check out our new Day Stage, where up-and-coming artists compete for a coveted spot in our Saturday Night lineup! Day shows include the hip-hop soul of Benni E., a little folk rock by Kelly Ricketts, and rock jams with Alia. The amazing medley of guitar, drum and vocals of Mama’s Black Sheep, breakbeats and hip-hop with Ethel Cee, AND Janet Mason & Barbara McPherson!
Night shows include soul and acoustics of Reina Williams, Michele Balan will have you laughing til you cry, singer/songwriter Christine Martucci, reggae to folk rock with SONiA of Disappear Fear, and South African musicians Sharon Katz and the Peace Train!
