Volunteer Info

Sisterspace is planned and executed entirely by volunteers. If you're interested in working the Weekend, please contact us at volunteers@sisterspace.org so that we know you're out there. It would be great if you could inform us of any special skills or qualifications that you have (i.e. - lifeguard certification, medical or nursing degree, etc.).

The requirements to be a worker at the Weekend are:

• a minimum 16 hour work commitment,
• the ability to arrive on Thursday, September 6th and stay until Monday, September 10th (for most positions), and
• a $20 minimum worker contribution (basically, this defrays the cost of your food).

Planning for the 2008 Weekend hasn't started yet, but when it does (in early 2008), check this page for a list of available positions.
